Their celebration wasn’t suppose to be an Opera House Sydney wedding. At first it suppose to be in Perth, then at the Bennelong Lawn.
We all know the stories how COVID continue to surprise us with lock-downs and ruins long planned wedding celebrations.
Belinda & John hadn’t escaped it ether, but couldn’t give up having the best celebration ever, even if they had to search for a new ceremony venue just 24 hours before their Big Day.
Belinda: “We were married on the wettest day (torrential rain) of 2021, so we had 24 hrs to sort out a new venue. We were supposed to be married at the Bennelong Lawn (which we had to wait 6 months before confirming) we ended up at the Opera House, the only venue that was available!”
Turned out their wedding day was exactly that they wanted in the first place. Celebrating with only the nearest and dearest, great food and drinks, modern architecture, relaxed and lots of fun.
“Across the Forest – our photographers were so amazing, they were relaxed and are such a beautiful couple. They had such high expectations of themselves and took the most amazing photos of us and our loved ones.”

Picking the right photographer for your special day is a hard thing to do. Across the forest for us was perfect, we set out looking for photographers who brought out emotions and captured moments you don’t see. We wanted them to capture uniquely who we were, not what wedding magazines looked like. We didn’t want videography so picking our photographer was everything.
John & I tear up every time we see our photos because the photos aren’t just beautiful and capture the moment. Somehow Anton & Raya bring even more beauty in the little moments & they bring emotion into every shot.
