After 13 years of adventures, from globetrotting escapades to weathering the storm of lockdown, Aimee and Dan decided it’s time to celebrate their love with a big party. And party they did, throwing a stunningly laid-back Canberra wedding at Midnight Hotel Braddon.
True to their nature, Aimee and Dan opted for a low-key, relaxed, dog-friendly wedding. But while the fuss was kept to a minimum, one thing was non-negotiable: capturing the genuine joy and heartfelt moments of their special day.

I honestly believe you couldn’t pick a better photographer than Across the Forest. Not only is Anton such a lovely guy, his pics are out of this world. They’re the kind of photos you will be able to look at forever, give to your family as gifts or have up in your home without feeling weird about it. Anton was kind, gave our dog endless pats and didn’t try to make us do anything we didn’t want to. Anton was also an amazing calming presence for us on the day, helping us soak it all in without getting overwhelmed. In the days after the wedding the overwhelming feedback from our guests has been about how amazing our photos look (yes we had a sneak peek within DAYS) and how great Anton was to have around.
