Feel Comfortable in Front of the Camera

Looking at this amazing pre-wedding photo shoot can you tell that they feel comfortable in front of the camera? Well, one of them wasn’t and that was the whole point of having the pre-wedding photo shoot.

Most common questions we get from couples is what to do if we don’t think we will be comfortable in front of the camera?

Feel Comfortable in front of the camera

It’s totally normal to feel this way! Most people don’t feel comfortable having their picture taken, especially on their wedding day. But it’s important to remember that your photographer is there to help you look and feel your best.

Trust your wedding photographer, especially if it is me! Your photographer is a professional and they know what they’re doing. Trust them to capture your wedding day in a beautiful and authentic way.

Focus on each other. One of the best ways to forget about the camera is to focus on your partner. Look into each other’s eyes, hold hands, and whisper sweet nothings.

Have fun! Your wedding is a special day, so make sure to enjoy yourself. Don’t worry about being perfect or looking a certain way. Just relax, have fun, and let your photographer capture the love and joy.

Consider having a practice run, a pre wedding shoot. This is what Carmen and Ian did. Turned out that Carmen is absolutely natural, but for Ian it took time to relax and trust the process. Their photo shoot at Cockatoo Island went perfectly. But my favourite snaps are the once that we took on a ferry on the way back. Ian completely relaxed and you can see how they both just enjoying the time being together. Have a look for yourself.
